Schedule a WhatsApp Message

We can say that WhatsApp is the most used chat beekeeper.. WhatsApp does not currently have the feature to send messages with a future date. However, this is possible through third-party applications.. You can schedule your WhatsApp, SMS, E-mail, Call and Facebook applications with the Android SKEDit application to send future messages.. It is a free application that Android phone users can download from Google Play Store.

Schedule WhatsApp Message

After installing the application, the first thing you need to do is to register.. The application can also have its own registration system or it is possible to register with Facebook using the security of OAuth technology.. Besides WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business, you can also schedule scheduling for SMS, email, Call and Facebook. For the application to work, the screen lock must be disabled.

After logging in, select the WhatsApp option from the options that appear, while the application takes you to the “Settings” menu of your phone. It will redirect to the Accessibility” field. Here, set the SKEDit app to “On”.

The first thing you need to do in WhatsApp is to add a recipient. To do this, tap the “To add whatsapp Contact(s) +” sign at the top. This will redirect you to the contacts of the WhatsApp app, find the person you want to send the message to and add it by tapping. If you are going to add more than one contact, continue by doing the same process each time.

Type the message you want to send in the “Message” field. You can also add images and documents with the Paper Clip sign with the “Attachment” sign.. Now you can schedule the Date and Time on the right part of the “Schedule” field to schedule the message you want to send.

Under the “Schedule” menu, “Repeat every” tab, there are also timing settings. You can specify the repetition to be made based on the adjustments you made in the “Schedule” section.. “No repeat” message will be transmitted only once without repeating.. You can set the repeats as Hour (Per Hour), Day (Every day), Week (Every week), Month (Every month) and Year (Every year).. The default setting is “No repeat.”. When the reminder notification comes, you will need to press the “Send” button in the notification to send the message.. Otherwise, the message will not be sent automatically.. If you want it to be sent automatically, you need to set this section to “Off”.

After all settings are finished, start the timing by pressing “SCHEDULE” in the upper right corner.. After the planning has started, the message you want will be sent to the person or people you want when the time comes.. If you have scheduled 5-10 minutes later to try, you should not use the Phone. The application will delay 3-5 minutes as the timing time comes until you leave the phone.. When you leave the phone, the application will do its job when it’s time.

Make sure to disable the screen lock for the application to work and the timing to work.. The reason the screen lock is disabled is because the app will find the person to run WhatsApp for you and write and forward your message.. If the screen is locked, the schedule will not be run because the application cannot pass the password.. If you have measures like two-step verification turned on in WhatsApp, you may need to disable them as well. See here to take a look at the WhatsApp security measures.

If you have signed up with Facebook and do not plan to use the application, do not forget to remove the authorization from the Facebook page.. You can access the links where you can remove OAuth authorizations such as Facebook and Google on this page.
