Google Photos is a service by Google that offers unlimited photo and video storage to users.. There are two options when uploading your photos to Google Photos: High Quality and Original.. Backing up photos is unlimited and free with High Quality option. However, with the Original option, you can use 15GB disk space to backup photos.
Google Photos supports Android and iOS devices.. You can back up the photos on your device to Google Photos by installing the Photos application on your Android or iOS phone and tablet.. You can back up all the photos you have taken by giving automatic backup instructions.. Photos you have uploaded to Google Photos are not deleted unless you delete them.. Thus, you can free up space on your phone by deleting the photos in your phone’s memory.
You can access your photos in Google Photos from your computer, mobile phone and tablet.. With the Google Photos application, you can create collages, movies, and categorize your photos as you wish.. Searching in the Photos app is easy. Google Photos; divides photos into different types such as space, object. For example, to search for photos you took in the car, simply search for “car”.. You can share the photos in Google Photos on Social Networks with one click.
Using Google Photos
Now we will explain step by step how to use the Photos application. An Android phone is used in our example. You can do the same with iPhones.
1. Log in to Google Play and download the Photos app. Click HERE to download. (Download the new version because the old version does not have this feature.)
2. After opening the Photos application, the backup screen will appear.. The gmail account you log into your Android device is automatically detected. Select “Backup and sync”. If you select “Use cellular data for backup“, it will use your carrier’s internet, so we don’t select this option.. Thus, your photos will be backed up automatically when there is a Wi-fi connection.. Tap the “Continue” button.
3. On the upload size screen for photos and videos, “High quality” Select ”. With this option, you get free and unlimited storage. Tap the “Continue” button.
4. Your photos will now be backed up to Google Photos.
You can back up photos on your Android and iOS phone, as well as upload photos from computer to Google Photos. Follow the steps below to upload photos from computer to Google Photos.
