Several Italian sites have reported that Samsung plans to expand its NC lineup and introduce a new sibling to its popular netbook model, the NC10. Rumors are circulating that this upcoming new model will be named NC20. According to NotebookItalia, the system will be released in February. This means that the Nano chip, which is said to be released in March 2009 by VIA, will be introduced to the market at an earlier date.
There is not much definitive information around. However, the NC20 is expected to have a 1.3GHz VIA Nano U225 processor, 160GB hard disk and 1GB memory. Similar to the current NC10 model, it will feature Bluetooth 2.0, 802.11 b/g/n wireless connectivity and a 1.3 megapixel webcam. The unofficial price is currently $642.
