How to Turn Off and On Notifications on Android Phones

Notifications are a nice feature. Notifications are turned on by default when you install an app. It allows us to be instantly informed about the applications.. But getting notifications from every app can be annoying.. For this reason, you can turn off the notifications of the application you want on Android phones and continue to receive notifications from the applications you want. Do Not Disturb feature

Do Not Disturb feature on Android basically; When you enable Do Not Disturb, you get notifications but no sound. Does not disable notification. You can set certain contacts to “Starred” and then allow messages or calls sent to them to bypass Do Not Disturb restrictions. To do this, simply tap the star next to the contact’s name from the Contacts menu.

For the purpose of this post, we will only be looking at Samsung’s version of Android 7.. Currently available on Galaxy S7 and S8 models. Pull down the notification shade and then tap the gear icon. In the “Settings” menu, tap on the “Bnotifications” entry.
