Let’s turn off Homegroup in Windows 7

The Homegroup feature is a very useful feature for sharing files, printers, etc. It comes automatically active in windows 7, but individual PC users (who do not need a network) or turn off this
feature and consume less PC resources. However, there may be people who want to save money. You will see the Leave the Homegroup link somewhere at the bottom of the screen that opens, click it and click on the Leave the Homegroup link again on the screen that opens

Thus, we have disabled the homegroup, but it is still visible in the navigation panel (2nd picture) let’s remove this too:

1. Let’s type services.msc in the search box and double-click the HomeGroup Listener and Homegroup Provider services on the screen that opens, press the stop button, and then set it to disable

Homegroup again Let’s open it:
First, set the services to manual or automatic mode again, then Control Panel –> Network and Internet, and then click HomeGroup, follow the steps if Join a homegroup on the screen that opens, otherwise click the Create Home group button
